Last minute fueling

All I know is that I like to be prepared and then just take it all in.
My hubby, at the last minutes, is trying to see if this ole generator will work or not.
Last in the Y2k, the generator worked but later put to the test to run some farm equipment, it didn't work.

Last heard, when the rain comes, we may get up to at least 20 hours of rain
causing lots of flooding and the electric to go out.

Update 3:25pm : generator doesn't work so it will be on the to-do list to fix it for another time.
