Smiles at the Fisherman's Wharf.
A cool day on the SF bay and felt like the 50*F in the evening.

The famous Lombard steep hill, very steep and windy.

Alcatraz (the actual tour was booked til Aug 14 so we took a boat tour)

What's SF without the famous trolley cars going up and down the steep hills.
We tried to get on, but each time, it was too full so we ended up walking.

Ending with Bubba Shrimp Co. dinner
(at Fisherman's Wharf) - though I enjoyed my dinner, my family wasn't thrilled, maybe because of the 40 min wait turned out to be 90 min.

San Francisco is my FAVOURITE city in the USA!!
You made it even more special and of course, the picture of your children always seals everything in the most exquisite way... Superb Sue! I miss the cable car rides...and Lombard street is quite unique ;)).

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Great shots. We visited Alcatraz in 1982 but had to wait 3 weeks to get on a tour.

Well, you hit all the tourist stuff for sure. Love all of these. Your kids are so precious. I'm really loving the curviest street in America! :)

Wonderful series of shots Sue Anne!!! BV
Hopefully you've had a chance to try the sourdough french bread ~ the extra sour variety is the best! :))

I am so glad you posted these photos Sue Anne. I'm also sorry you had disappointments down the line but it seems you made the best of the situation.
Wonderful photography.
