These images were taken from over (( 3 miles away )) through heat mirage, with a Canon 500mm f4 I.S.
with a 1.4x converter attached to a Canon EOS-50D.
Google Earth was used for distance and GPS figures. I used the "D" shape
in the dirt road that shows in my images, as a landmark to find via satellite
imagery. My location was 43 37 15.79 N, 116 10 49.54 W.
