While driving around the mountains looking for Autumn Color and critters to photograph, I spotted a bunch of crows feeding on a deer carcass. I set up across the road and waited. In came a Magpie which at first was slightly down hill and out of sight, but patience won out and I was rewarded with this image. I could not have asked for a better pose or better light at the moment and thank goodness I was ready behind my camera because it was but a couple moments and he flew off.
