12/16/2012 - For the annual Whitman Fire Department children’s Christmas Party a special guest was brought in by Whitman Ladder-1. Santa Claus made his way to the party by climbing up the ladder and into the second floor window of the fire station. It is unclear where Ladder-1 picked up Santa, but after he gave presents to all the little girls and boys, he slid down the fire pole and disappeared.
