11/02/2009 - While at the Phillip Street fire, one of the firefighters operating a line on the "C-D" corner of the came to the front of the building and reported that a structure was on fire on the next street over. We walked through a vacant lot and found a house on Manistique Street on fire. The fire building was the same one that we had gone to a couple of days prior. Due to the first alarm companies were tied up on Phillip Street, companies needed to respond from another district. Firefighters arrived approximately 5-10 minutes after the fire was reported. The fire extended to the occupied dwelling on the "D" side, but was quickly knocked down.
