09/26/2010 - Around 0320 hours Detroit Police and EMS responded to Outer Drive E at McNichols for a reported car vs pole. When crews arrived they found a 1986 Chevrolet Caprice wrapped around a light pole. Fire was called in with a ladder to that EMS could inspect the car for victims. No one was found to be in the car. One witness reported that the car struck the pole and two occupants crawled out of the car and drove away in another vehicle. Police noticed that there were bullet holes in the drivers side and windshield of the car. The two occupants were found later at a local hospital with gun shot wounds and injuries from the accident.
