09/01/2009 - Halifax MA's new Chief William Carrico II was sworn in at Halifax's central fire station at 1900 hours. The Master of Ceremonies was Halifax selectman John Bruno, II. Speakers included Fire Chief Robert Heath of Kingston MA, Fire Chief Lance Benjamino of Middleboro MA, who was the former Halifax Fire Chief and Captian Henry Bosworth of Halifax MA who was the acting Fire Chief in Halifax prior to Chief Carrico's appointment. The Halifax Town Clerk, Barbara Gaynor, performed the swearing in for Fire Chief Carrico.
