05/07/2010 - Around 0915 hours Brockton Police and Fire Departments responded to the MBTA Station for a report of a person struck by the commuter rail at 11 Commercial Street. Companies had a person stuck under the train. The patient was extricated and transported by AMR-CA to the Brockton Hospital with serious injuries. LifeFlight from Worcester responded to the Brockton Hospital, but did not transport. The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital. The cause of the accident is under investigation by authorities.
