05/02/2007 I recently visited Las Vegas, Nevada for the IAFC Fire/Rescue Med conference at the Orleans Hotel and Casino. While there I was able to get some photos of some miscellaneous fire apparatus that was parked in the lot. Across the street from the hotel is the Clark County Fire Department's Training Facility. On the last day of our trip, I was fortunate enough to visit the North Las Vegas, NV Station #56 where the new recruits get trained. Thanks to Chief Bob DiPoli (Retired) who spoke to the academy class and Firefighter Ryan Green, and the other firefighters at Station #56 who gave us a great tour.
