03/11/2010 - Around 0445 hours the Brockton Fire Department received a call reporting a trash truck on fire in the area of 200 Quincy Street. Engine-4 and Engine-7 arrived to find the trash in a trash truck on fire. The trash truck dumped its load on to the roadway. Firefighters soaked down the trash and extensively overhauled the pile to make sure all fire was knocked down. The DPW responded with a front end loader to clear the roadway of the debris. Quincy Street was closed for some time while the trash was cleared.
