02/16/2011 - Around 1720 hours Brockton Fire Department toned out Engine-4 on a central station alarm at 365 Crescent Street. Engine-4 arrived to find heavy fire showing from the third floor of a large 2.5 story wood framed occupied apartment building. A working fire was struck, followed by a second alarm. Companies were able to knock down the heavy fire quickly. Firefighters worked to extensively overhaul the third floor and the attic area of the dwelling. Mutual aid from East Bridgewater and Avon covered some of Brockton's stations.
