02/13/2008 Brockton MA firefighters responded to 14 Mitchell Road during the afternoon hours for a reported house fire. Car-56 signed off with smoke showing from a 2.5 story woodframe occupied dwelling. Companies found a fire in the basement. They were able to knock down the fire quickly with one handline dispite the heavy down pours.
