02/08/2009 - While enroute to visit Marc at 46-Engine in 'Da Bronx, we heard the Bronx dispatcher report that they were receiving multiple calls for an unknown type structure fire on top of the elevated train platform in the area of Westchester Avenue at Saint Anne's Street. The OIC reported All Hands going to work at Box 75-2278 for a storage unit on top of the elevated platform that was fully involved. Because companies were unsure as to what was in the storage unit and the "popping sound" coming from the unit, companies waited for the power to be terminated before applying water. The fire occured around 1500 hours. Two tower ladders knocked down the fire and hydraulically overhauled the structure.
