01/15/2008 - Abington MA firefighters and police officers responded to this 4-vehicle motor vehicle accident at Plymouth Street at Centre Street (Route 123 at Route 58) in the mid afternoon hours. A Tier-1 Hazardous Materials Response was requested due to a strange unknown odor coming from a container in the mini-van involved, but was canceled when the contents of the container were discovered. Whitman and Rockland's ambulances were called in mutual aid to transport patients from the scene.
