Fatih, since you are now working with PS, I'll email much better instructions. Thanks for letting me know.

Thanks, Bottles. I switched to Photoshop almost a year ago, and will try to work on this a bit more as per your suggestions. Fatih.

Fatih, I looked through some of your older post and see that you're using Paint Shop Pro for editing. Since I'm using Photoshop, it probably wouldn't do any good to be too specific in explaining the workflow I used for your image. Let me just say that basically I started off by increasing the contrast of the entire image (just a little). I selectively lightened the eyes and increased the red of the lips (also just a little). Also, because I lost that nicely lighted area on the left side of your image (by going to the portrait orientation), I added some light back to the lower left part of the edited version using PWL (paint with light if you're familiar with that). Lastly, I did a High Pass sharpen on the image and adjusted the opacity to my liking. Hope this helps some :-)

Wonderful picture. Childhood is truly captured in this image. Great lighting and joyous atmosphere. tcoen

Thank you very much for your time and effort Bottles! Although I still seem to like the landscape orientation more, there's no question your processing works much better. Could you be a bit more specific as to what you have done on this? Many thanks... Fatih.

Nice shot of a really handsome lad Fatih! I love all the color and the lighting in this image. * Since you've indicated that you'd like a little more critical critique, I will say that I'd probably prefer a portrait orientation here; just a personal preference of course. I've put an example in the Demo folder, check it out and see what you think.
