My favorite of the many bridges that span the Willamette River in downtown Portland, the Steel Bridge was opened to rail traffic in 1912 and is still an operating drawbridge. The full bridge can be seen at http://www.pbase.com/image/63694178
Wonderful shot Helen! I love the way the details of all that steel show up so clear and sharp. And that beautiful blue sky makes the perfect background! I see plenty of rust on the old structure, that's great when you're looking for old things :-) Another nice entry!
