Exceptional sharpness, especially in that middle building, great color as well. I also like the sunlight reflecting off the building and windows of the front building. Nice shot! Helen

You're welcome Daniel. I'm not sure I would have ended up using a corrected version either (considering the challenge theme), but I would have wanted to see it both ways before deciding. By the way, I like your other entries too but I think this one is my favorite. Again, very nice work!

Thank you, Roberta, for commenting! And thanks to you too, bottles, for taking the time to «play» and showing us how you’d have presented this; I do apreciate your effort. I find, though, the middle building in both your suggestions to be *too* distorted and do prefer—especially for this challenge’s theme, as Roberta does—the «natural» distortion caused by my lense... Thanks anyway! — db.

Daniel,
I like the combination of different textures and colors on the buildings. The reflection on the center building is so clear and distinct. I personally like the distortion as it gives it a more dramatic perspective. Bottles- thanks for showing us the distortion corrections in the samples gallery. It's always valuable to work an image in a variety of ways to see what works best.

Okay Daniel, I've put up two versions of my corrections, (one crops the left side of the image a little). Please keep in mind that I'm not saying the corrections are better than your original; it's just another possibility for you to consider. It's entirely possible that since the theme is "look up, look down" that the keystone distortion is cool in this case :) If you never chang a thing, I really like your image! Here's a link to the demo folder, you'll see both corrected images there.

Thanks, Bottles, for commenting and for offering to show us your version of this image! I for myself like it as it is—at least, for the purpose of this challenge. But if you feel like, by all means, please do go ahead (I’m looking forward to seeing how you’d like this picture to look; I really am). — db.

Daniel, I really like the contrast between the old and new buildings as well as the many angles and shapes in the image. I like the colors here too. *As for any critique, the only thing I'm wondering about is the keystone distortion so evident here. Since the theme is about looking up (or down) maybe the distortion actually emphasizes that idea? I'm not sure. You might try correcting the distortion in your editing program and see which you like the best. If you'd like an example, I'll give it a try and post the results in the Demo folder. Nice entry in any case!
