Jerry, I really like the sparse quality of the landscape...and the color coordination between land and sky. These two factors along with the way you composed this keep the image simple to me... there is no obvious main subject to draw the eye away from considering the whole scene here. Simple and well taken...beautiful light here too. Nice photo. MFC BTW, I love that song you reference in your title...

I like it that the image is mostly formed from only a few elements - yellow plants and the white/blue of the sky and snow!

The bleak winter covers a lot, but still provides some very good light and even shows blue sky! What else do you want! :-)
