MFC, my grandmother bought it in the 30's. This crib, aged early twentieth century, is composed of painted clay figurines wearing old local clothes.
Savona and its neighbourhood are famous for the artistic tradition: since about five hundred years in these places they work ceramics.

Yes, Barbara, this is the main point of the season for a lot of people. I like the lighting and the central composition on this one. What an interesting, old ceramic...how did you acquire it? Nice photo. MFC
