Hi Jo. the wheels were depositing water into a shoot to be carried someplace, never followed it LOL. You can see the shoot cut across in the picture. also the "paddles" were at an angle.

Nice shot Ernest but what are the wheels used for? Lifting water or supplying movement of a machine?
