The "London Eye", built in the year 2000 as "Millenium Wheel",
was at the time--with a height of 135 meters--the world's tallest Ferris wheel.
It has, meanwhile, become one of London's most visited landmarks.

I do appreciate your friendly words on my entries, bottles and Jo. This seems to be the one image not everyone considers to be belonging to the whole series on "The Wheel". -- db.

Wow, four nice shots Daniel, it's hard to choose between them! I really like the dark background of the #2 image but also like the composition of this one :-) All of them are good entries for this challenge!
