TheLondonEye*3
by Daniel Bollag

London, England

The "London Eye", built in the year 2000 as "Millenium Wheel",
was at the time--with a height of 135 meters--the world's tallest Ferris wheel.
It has, meanwhile, become one of London's most visited landmarks.

other sizes: small medium original auto

Many thanks for your friendly words, Franky. It's nice to know you like not only this image, but the whole series. -- db.

Great series! This one is also my preference. :-) The composition which relates the wheel to the city makes it unique.

Thank you very much, Justin, for your kind comment. It sure is interesting for me to see how tje different ways to--photographically--aprpoach the same subject appeal to different viewers. -- db.

All three are nice - and three different shot styles of the same subject which is what I would do too. I actually like this one the best - the colors of muted orange and reddish pink glow of the wheel are warm and interesting, and I like the way it rises out of the city around it here.
