These few pictures of my father were sent to my mother in early 1966. He was 39 years old at the time.

They were taken by one of his fellow soldiers... I have no idea where or how they were developed. I have done little or nothing to enhance the scanned images; somehow the ghosts that showed up on some of the images and the tilt of others on the paper seem a part of the history.

Dad had put notes on the back of a few of the prints. I included his words as captions.

SGM E. W. Stevenson died of pneumonia at Womack Army Hospital in Fort Bragg, NC on 17-Mar-1994 at age 68. He is missed.
