Bacton Abbey. Bacton is probably better known for its North Sea Gas Terminal
than its strangely unacknowledged, little known, and unloved ruined abbey.
(ps I should perhaps add that the abbey is on private property... oops!)

Nice use of a strong texture which reflects the disrepair and texture of the building very well. +V

Another of your moody and magnificent images.
The sky, with your crackling texture in the sky seems to give a hint of all the mad electrical storms which have played over this venerable old Abbey through the ages.
Smashin'.

And another effective, moody and almost three dimensional artwork.
And it is great that that private property mark did not stop you as it stopped me this summer (but there where some people involved also :))

It has a strangely eery and menacing feel ... I would think before I venture in ...
And, what is this wall in the background?
