The images in this gallery were taken on November 18, 2007, while flying over the Shenandoah Mountains in Virginia. The timing could not have better--the fall leaves were at their peak! Although the autumn tree colors may appear "enhanced" or modified, they have not been. They are the actual colors as they appeared from the air and as the sun broke through the clouds and "lit" them up making the leaves radiate and glow.

Beautiful gallery, I did the same in Wisconsin last year, though I have still to list them,great album.
