Canada Geese

Stephen L. Tabone Photography

These images were taken on Lake Montclair during spring when the Canada Geese were beginning to nest. They appeared to be very territorial and a 5 minute battle between the males was quite a sight. The two females watched closely as the fight raged on. After the fight, the two pairs of Geese went their separate ways to the shore to recover.
