I've lived and worked here since 1999. It has all the symptoms of a modern metropolis. Smog, rush hour traffic jams, crowded streets and shopping malls, but among the 7,400 odd high rise buildings is a city still under construction. Every few months new towers overshadow the old and glass architecture replacing concrete monoliths.
