Pictures in this gallery were taken during the 2 week Alaska birding trip in summer, 2005. This was a fast pace birding trip not tailered for photography. Places visited were Anchorage, Homer, Seward, Denali, Fairbank, Dalton HW, Deadhorse/Arctic Tundra, Denali HW. Most of the birds were seen from far distance. And some of the photos were taken inside the van through the window glass. As any birding trip, many cool birds were seen but couldn't be photographed. The 2 birds I missed the most were a snowy owl in deadhorse and a white phase gyrfalcon in the arctic tundra.
