From numerous movies, this magnificent yet used-to-be deserted temple stroke me.
Maybe that was its own history of King Jayavarman and Suryavarman, or the ambience merged into the movies such as 'Tomb Raiders' and 'In the mood for love'-which is my favorite romance flick.
However, once I got my steps in the ruins myself, the stories from these movies are instantly fallen away, and I was comfortably embraced by Angkor's beauty.
It was an overwhelming experience. Rainy season has just been over and it was perfect timing to explore the whole ruins.
