It's funny you should use the words "gritty, high contrast, great tone" to describe my black and white photos, because they're the very same words I'd use to describe yours. Keep up the good work! Excellent, excellent work. I have always been partial to black and white photography. However, that is not the reason to vote for a gallery like this. It is because your work is extremely well done and composed greatly. Above all it has spirit. Voted!

All in all, one of the best B&W galleries that I've seen here in PBase. I am intrigued by the proportions of some shots (square and 1~1.5)
