The second bathing town of my India trip was incredible. Much smaller than Nasik, which seemed a pretty good sized city, Ujjain had a very remote sort of mystical feel to it. I also saw the very first and only rain of my otherwise dry and sweltering trip to India. I stayed at some hotel by the train station, the Sri Rama or the Ram Krishna or something like that. The only one of the cheapies that had AC. It was a very nice town and I had a blast.
Desaturated this one. Seemed like a photo that needed to be desaturated
Hanging out on the ghats
Holy man make up session
It was a very peaceful town
It rained, a bit, and, in three weeks, this was the only overcast sky I saw
More rain
I love a good lonely bicycle shot
Felt a bit like Paul Bowles hanging out behind a temple with these lads
Ah, India
This girl was really vamping it up for me. Even doing this model hair grab thing
Strikingly beautiful

I know it's Hindu, but it has a very Burmese Nat look to it.
