Well so I got to Kompong Tom and was met at the bus stand by Mr. Has Sophy, a friend of the tuk tuk guy I used in Kompong Cham, and rumored to be the last guy in town willing to take tourists out to see the remote Khmer temples. Mr. Has was amazing. We had about five days on his little motorbike and he got me to the three temples on my list and some extras. We also did a one-night homestay in a village by Preah Khan, which may have been the highlight of the trip. If you are looking for a good guide, reliable, good humored, intelligent, this is your guy. call him at 855-012-682-100. Mr. Has ROCKS. And when you're done, his wife will prepare you a lovely breakfast of bugs and beer. Yummy.
