Nice place. Sort of nestled up in the corner of Gujarat, near Kutch. One of Hinduisms four holiest temples is here. No cameras allowed and a bit of a guide scam going on inside, which was curious considering I was the only westerner in town. But the town itself is very beautiful and you can go on nice little outings to the countryside. There are also nice temples lining a little inlet off the bay, or the gulf, or whatever the water is. I ended up only staying one day. A very bad decision. I was anxious to get to Junagadh and Palitana though. Looking back, I should have stayed 2-3 days in Dwarka.

Again
Pilgrims
We liked the rescuing motif here

A massive Shiva, just outside of town

A parrot on on the tongue of the snake around Shiva's neck
Idols
I was quite taken with this Shiva

Water buffalo
Cool bird
Gujarati herdsman dress.
