I think Calicut is a great city. No real sights, but very relaxed, very beautiful, very friendly. Easy to get around. I didn't take many photographs, but one day I went in search of an old mosque and ended up finding a very beautiful old part of town, by the water, a bit south of the beach. It was an amazing, very cool old town. Narrow winding streets, huge villas, big leafy palm trees, very colorful. The people were very friendly. And I ran into a bunch of kids with the Red Crescent distributing rice to the poor, donated by the Sheikhs of the UAE, my old home.
I guess i really like these birds
