7:30am...
I've been up for two hours already, and even my little dog betrays me
in that regard... she's wrapped up tight in a sleeping bag snoring away.
It is a bit cold this morning, and from the look of it, it will be
quite some time before the sun makes it over the ridge behind the lake.
The sunlight and clouds to the West, were amazing this
morning. In between coffee drinking binges, I snapped quite a few photos;
although whether they amount to anything interesting remains to be seen.

This photo was caught just as the sun had begun to creep into the little
valley that holds this idillic little lake. The water was rarely calm
enough to capture a reflection, but this one was particularly pleasing to me.
Twas a wonderful weekend away, and I can't wait to head into the backcountry
again.
