Superglue

I should not be allowed near sharp objects!!!
The plan was to cook enchiladas this morning so that I could ski
this afternoon. I had finished with my culinary brilliance and
was preparing to tidy up the kitchen.

While cleaning up, I barely noticed as I saw my
freshly sharpened knife sitting edge up in the sink...
it just took a moments inattention, and the flesh
on my finger popped open like a hungry little mouth.
It was gaping pretty good when I first sliced it open...
But not to worry... a little soap and water, and a little
superglue, and my ski day was salvaged!

And yes, my first immediate thought was.... I bet I can milk this for a photo of the day...

Nasty! After so many bad cuts over the years, I'm now SO carefule with knives... where I place them, always separate from other utensils, always blade down. Be careful!

The best "glue" is lots of blood and fingers have plenty in reserve. Hope the cut was clean as infection can be a lot worse than the cut. ~V~
