Just a short drive up onto the hill behind my house
and I am gifted with mile after mile after mile
of wheat fields. In the winter when the snow fills
this open expanse of land, it becomes a playground
for those with a propensity for taking on the terrain
via two narrow little planks attached to our boots
at the toe...

Of course, we have permission from the landowner ;)
