Another wonderful afternoon on the Nordic Trails at Loup Loup pass.

I really did have the best intentions when I left the trail with regard to
collecting a wonderful photo of the day. My SLR, and tripod were dutifully
loaded into my little backpack... I rationalized that the weight would be worth
the great photo I would collect!

As I was skiing along, I noticed how much I love the sound of the fishscale
whizzing through the groomed tracks as I glide along the trails...
Unfortunately, I am not too skilled with regard to steep downhills which
include corners... here you see the result of my bouncing around like a
pinball on crack in the tracks.... bend my knees... lean into the corner...
dang... I'm going really freaking fast.... bail, bail, bail... abort mission...
splat.

So I thought it was a good opportunity to pull out my camera and try and get
a creative shot for my photo of the day.... I flicked the on switch, and
the LCD panel on the back of my camera lit up... No CF card.... D'oh.

Oh well, this is my photo of the day... lame as it is.... I really did have a
wonderful day.
