So, I finally got my hands on a copy of this long lusted after Lens.
So excited I was, that I felt it necessary to carry this behemoth in
my backpack the 15 miles in to the head of the Entiat River this past
weekend. Well, turns out that it was a darn good thing too... what
with all of the wildlife out and about, it was "worth its weight in gold"
so to speak.
But, after a day hike where I gave my beloved 60 mm f2.8 macro lens a good
solid dunking in the river, I was happy to discover the "macro" capacity of
my new 400 lens. I paired it here with a 24mm extension tube, which produced
exciting results... still need alot more practice with the lens itself.
It seems I need a wide learning curve with each new piece of equipment ;)
Hope y'all have a great weekend... heading out of town after work again tonight!
Check back on Monday!
