Erynnis horatius - Horace's Duskywing

West Bridgewater

Collected August 16th from Red Oak in a powerline cut, West Bridgewater MA. I believe this is a Horace's duskywing caterpillar because of it's pale blue/green appearance and thin white subdorsal line rather than a thicker yellow line as in most Juvenal's. In the past month and a half it has grown only a little.
