Nemoria sp. bistriaria? (Emerald Moth)

Medfield MA

Collected in Medfield MA 9/23/2008. I found it curled up on the dorsal surface of a Red Oak leaf - possible I knocked it off a more suitable perch (like a twig) while searching the plant. Very eager to fall from its perch and play dead when disturbed - or curl its body, placing its head against its anal prolegs. Not yet sure of the exact species, I'll need to raise it up.
