I have had the Tamron AF 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di LD (IF) lens for a couple of months now and absolutely love it. It took some getting used to because when you open it all the way to F2.8 there isn't much depth of field so you have to be right on with focus. This is the lens I keep on my camera all the time. It's great for portraits, yet it is also versitile enough for the street photography that I love to do. I haven't used the kit lens that came with my camera since then. I also have a Tamron 75-300 mm lens and have been very pleased with that also (so much so that when I wanted a lower range zoom, I immediately started looking at what Tamron offered). Hope this helps.

Hello, Michelle
I found your gallery searching for pictures taken with the Tamron SP AF 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di LD (IF) lens. I was looking for evidence that the Lens could take a sharp image. After a lot of searching without any satisfactory results I came across your gallery. Your work has convinced me that the lens could be good.
