as long as you didn't go kick the leg of his tripod you're doing ok..... can't believe he wasn't doing a hand held shot...what a wimp :-)

Just console yourself with the fact that he wasted money on Realtree, which is only better than ordinary camouflage if you want to hide from human beings. Standard military gear works just as well with wildlife - which sees things differently to us. The guy in bright blue with bare hands and face wont be helping either!

OK, I'm also just picking holes because of lens envy :o)

Nah he is just compensating for something ;)
I used to worry about kit envy, these days i just tell my self to "shut up and shoot", nice photo.
