March 9, 2005 - Window seat

Ann Arbor, Mich.

A young lady curls up in a cozy chair next to a window at the original Borders store in downtown
Ann Arbor. (I'm replacing the junk I posted earlier today with this).

Great candid!!! Excellent detail inside and outside the window!!!

Agree on how well you do candids - great job. This is especially good considering the contrast btwn the dark interior against outside light through the window. Well done.

Steve, you do these candids so well!
This is wonderful!

Wonderful. I don't think I could ever let myself relax that much. If I tried, I'd be snoozing in the chair instead of reading, and then I'd snore…no it's better that I don't even try it.

I want to kick her out so I can curl up there for a day, or two ... a week!

I'm sure she was at the library all night!

Isn't it nice that there are places that welcome you when you look and sit like this? The closest thing I can compare this with is a large grocery chain years ago that allowed people ot sit on the floor and read magazines instead of chasing them away.

A nice capture indeed. Very human pose...
