I awoke at 4 a.m. today to the light of a full moon glowing through the blinds of the window
in the guest room of my friends' home in Fort Myers. I overcame the urge to roll over and go back
to sleep, got up, unpacked my camera and tripod and spent the next half hour trying to figure out
how the shoot the brightly glowing moon against the ambient light of the room. I finally ended up
using a slight fill flash so I could pick up the wooden slates without over exposuring the moon.
