The Wind GodsThe winds today were gusting to 74 km/h (46 mph) and Trey just kept jumping off his perch, literally. Don't know if he kept trying to do/get something and the winds were forcing him to keep trying or whether for a peregrine, a strong wind under the wings is something not to be missed. For birds that perch for hours upon hours each day, this was most unlike Trey, but most enjoyable to watch.Peregrine Falcon Recovery Project (Manitoba) |
