1891 Baldwin 0-4-2 T- "Deanna"

Sandstone Crag Loop Line 4

This engine is owned by George & Karen Thagard and has been a frequent guest engine at Ardenwood.

This oil burning Hawaiian Plantation engine was built by Baldwin in 1891 as a coal burner and was originally purchased by the Kaiwiki Sugar Company plantation in Hawaii. It was subsequently sold to Waimanalo Sugar Company and run on the Waimanalo Plantation on the windward side of Oahu in Hawaii.

I would like to thank Mr. Thagard for bringing his Baldwin to Ardenwood for the 2009 Railroad Days. It was a pleasure to see and hear her run. Fantastic!

Hi There

I am a model engineer living in South Africa and an wanting to build one of these for a 5" gauge track. Would you be able to help me with more detailled photos of the inside of the cab etc. Any help would be really great.
