This is a picture of a picture of my late wife "Jeri" and my son Max.
My wife was a love at first sight, my best friend and I believe the true love of my life.
She was "beauty" in human form. She was the sweetest most sincere person I have met in my 40+ years of life.

She passed away September 27Th, 2002 after having a massive stroke during open heart surgery to replace a defective heart valve. She was 38 years old. We had almost 20 beautiful years together.

She took this picture with our son, some time in 1997 for my birthday. I had stopped practicing photography long before this picture was taken. Her passing has made me take the hobby up again, for she always loved my photos. I can see from the photo albums that I am missing a lot of how we lived for loving each other.

My photo's are mostly for me, my son and his family when he has one.
Please enjoy what I am still able to capture with my mind, eye's and soul.

I placed this picture intentionally blurry, for it is a blur to me how fast she was gone.

For who ever reads this. Please live and love each other like no tomorrow, for you never know when the happiness will end. Don't sweat the little things. Be tolerant of other people, for you never know what darkness has happened in their life.

I can honestly say I would give up everything but my son for just one wish.

Thankyou for your honesty, and it is the truth. I found this while comically looking for a thumbnail image for a help file I was creating, and here on this day at the end of November as I work inside, snow outside........on this day I am reminded of how important people are...and how fast they can be gone........and the griefs we live with that we would give almost anything to change.
I don't think it is a chance meeting.
May you know warmth and love this day my brother.
This is a lovely photo, and she looks every bit a treasure as does he.

I've seen your posts about various equipments on the FM forum, but I did not know about your wife. I'm so sorry. May God comforts you & your son. As you mentioned, we should make the most of each day, enjoy the people & pets in our life. Last but not least, take many pictures in order to share and pass it on.

A wonderful tribute to someone who died much too young. Enjoy your photography, it can be very healing. I know from experience. Good luck each day.
