Creek Brook Wetlands is a gem of a little spot. Located in an industrial section of Haverhill, Massachusetts, this area provides not only ideal breeding habitat for birds and wildlife, but it also provides an unequaled close up view of this wildlife for citizens of Haverhill, birders and nature lovers from all locations.

Unfortunately, the City of Haverhill manages this area simply by allowing breaching the areas in front of the culverts and draining this area almost in it's entirety.

In the fall of 2006, thousands of fish were killed via suffocation and easy predation by various wading birds.
